Sean hails from Northern New York. Yes, that is north of "Upstate" New York and no, it is not Canada. Growing up in a small city about an hour north of Syracuse allowed Sean to develop an appreciation for nature and wide open spaces, as well as the need to be near civilization. Hence, six years ago, Sean ventured south and now resides in the great Metropolis of New York City. A periodic desire to walk down the aisle of a grocery store and not be able to run his outstretched hands along the merchandise leads him to visit his mom and sister in Eastern PA.

Sean first came to "The City" with his eyes set on teaching high school social studies. A lifelong actor, Sean eventually decided to begin acting again and now splits his time between teaching students with disabilities in the Bronx and acting. Unluckily for the kids in the Bronx, that "big break" hasn't happened yet. There's still hope, though, that Broadway will lure Mr. Murray away and thereby alleviate endless history essay writing assignments from their high school regimen.

Sean enjoys all sorts of theatre, but particularly loves the classics, especially Shakespeare. Recently, Sean has been seen as Fluellen in Henry V and Stephano in The Tempest. Rejoining the company of the Inwood Shakespeare Festival, Sean can be seen performing the role of Angelo in Comedy of Errors in June 2010. For more on Sean's credits, visit the Resume Page.

When not acting, Sean is writing, directing and editing. Sean produced and directed two of his (super)short screenplays in 2009, both of which can be seen on the Video Editing page. Sean has also edited promo trailers for Scarlet the Film Magazine, published by his friend Kevin G. Shinnick, as well as a trailer for The Queens Players/Secret Theatre of which he is a proud member.
